I’m Mark Treasurer of Annabels Angels, I work in Logistics & Purchasing and am a close friend of Simon the chair.
My employment gives me a good grounding for ensuring all financial aspects of the charity run as smoothly as possible.
I oversee all donations, income & outgoings for the trust and am heavily involved in ensuring that when our grants committee meet to authorise a new application, we get the ball rolling to purchase or order whatever has been requested as quickly as possible.
When I see the appreciation and thanks given to our trust when we have helped someone or eased an aspect of their lives it makes me feel the hard work and stress of organising it is worth it.
At meetings I will communicate the current financial state of our trust and discuss with other members the income and outgoings planned in the near future. I enjoy the challenge of keeping our trust afloat and am proud to announce we have twice had our accounts externally audited since our inception with no issue.
We plan to have our accounts available publicly for this year shortly.
Annabel’s Angels is growing in size an popularity and I feel so honoured to have played a part in its continuing success.
