I’m Elizabeth, trustee and social media manager.
I’m about to go into my 3rd Year at The University of Nottingham.
I study International Communication and Media. I’m a Northerner, from Leeds, we have cold winters but make great pies. I’ve always been passionate about Marketing and Advertising and on the side make incredible Sunday Roasts.
I found Annabels Angels through Do-it.org, an excellent website that finds you wonderful volunteering opportunities based on your interests and passions. I’m all about helping others and I’m all about Marketing and Advertising which found me Annabels Angels and, of course, I fell in love instantly.
I work alongside Simon, Siobhan and Will in developing the online presence for Annabels Angels. My focus is specifically on Blogging, I’m behind the article writing and a few tweets and Facebook statuses here and there. I’m a newbie, so I’m just getting started, but it’s safe to say that I’ve found my new home here at Annabels Angels.
In the process of researching Annabels Angels I’ve found that the work that they’ve done over the past year has been incredible, the volunteers are nothing but dedicated and wonderful people and it’s an honour to experience the people and what the people stand for, and what the charity stands for.
Aforementioned, I am only just starting out, but I’m going to be sticking around for a while because I want to be able to say in a few months time that I have personally experienced the wonderfulness that is Annabels Angels. They’ve offered so much to struggling families and individuals.
I see Annabels Angels developing their online presence and with it support for families struggling with Cancer.
I see Annabels Angels becoming a more prominent charity, a charity that is all about support and understanding.
